My Annual Passport (AP)s are valid through 10/07/2007. I would like to buy another AP for my son and have it valid through 10/07/2007. Do I need to purchase and/or use this new AP on 10/06/2006, 10/07/2006, or 10/08/2006 to have it valid through 10/07/2007? In otherwords, how does DL establish the 'valid through date' and how do I get that printed on my son's AP card so that it is valid through 10/07/2007?

On the purchase of a new AP, they will use the date of redemption, so you would want to buy the AP on October 7th and then go to the Bank of Main Street that day with your son (he needs to be there for the photo).

If you just buy the voucher on October 7th from the Main Ticket Booths, online or at a Disney Store, but don't redeem it until October 20th, the expiration date would be 10/20/07.

And if you decided to upgrade from ParkHopper, you would get the date of fist use of the ParkHopper. For example, you buy a 3 day ParkHopper and use it on October 5th, 6th and 7th. You go to the Bank of Main Street on the 7th to upgrade, the CM is supposed to override the computer system and make the expiration date 10/5/07. (Though on occasion, the Cm fails to change the date).

I just looked. October 7, 2006 is a Saturday. Our current So. Cal. passports don't work on that day so my 3 year old son can get in the park on that day, but we can't.

I really want all my APs expiring on the same date. If we redeem on Friday, October 6, 2006, is it possible for the CM to override the computer system and make the expiration date 10/07/07? Alternatively, if we redeem on Sunday, October 8, 2006, is it possible for the CM to override the computer system and make the expiration date 10/07/07?

P.S. How do you know so many fine details about Disneyland?
