Hi,
I just got an ap deluxe pass.
I have a question. If my sister was staying at the disneyland hotel, can I make the reservation and get the AP discount for her? Do I have to be staying there as well?

I am assuming I do, or else everyone would be making reservations for family.

new at this...........

You really need to have the AP in hand when you check in with the special rate. YOu never know when they will ask for it.

They allowed me to make 3 room reservations at AP discount, but one of the rooms was mine, and I did have to show AP when I checked in. So yes, you can get the AP discount for your sister as long as you'll also be there either in the same room or in another room.

We were there last month and got the special AP rates applied to our room and mil's room. When we booked the reservation, we were told that one AP holder can reserve up to 2 rooms. MIL checked in a day after we did and luckily dh went down to meet them. They asked to see dh's AP to verify the rate.
