The Year of a Million Dreams goes from October 1st, 2006 thru September 30th, 2007. This will be the main push.

For the Disneyland Resort, the local promotion will be an overlay on both Space Mountain and California Screamin', where "Rockin' " music and special effects will be added to the ride from the second week in January thru mid April, This is mainly designed to help drive local attendance.

As for times to go, January isn't bad, just avoid the first week, and Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend.

February also is good, avoid the President's Day weekend and Valentine's Day. February and early March tends to have a lot of Cheerleader and Dance groups in attendance.

March is hit or miss, as many schools across the nation have switch Easter Break to Spring Break, and you never know how many folks will show up each week. Disney does extend hours due to larger crowds.

The first half of April is Peak Easter Break, very busy, but maximum hours and entertainment.

The second half of April is nice and quiet. The one worry, if Disney offers the "2-fer" ticket to locals, the parks gets busy (mainly DCA) as the tickets expire.
