I plan on walking from the parking structure to Disneyland Hotel this week for a conference. Should I take the tram and then walk through Downtown Disney or can I hike through the RV parking lot to the hotel? I have parking on my AP and my work didn't give me money for parking up front. I don't think it's that far to walk.

Also, will the PS be open at 7:30am?

Thank you!

From the tram, here might be the route you may want to take http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=392305. From the parking structure, here is a route http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=392296

First off, the above path will NOT work, as there is no crosswalk on Disneyland Drive between Magic Way and the Grand Californian.

Here is the correct route from the RV parking to the DLH Lobby...

As for when the Parking Lot opens....

8 AM On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday due to early Entry

8:30 AM on Wednesday and Friday (1/2 hour prior to Park Opening)

It's much faster to walk to the DLH than to take the tram and walk through DTD. I've walked that way myself on occasion when heading to DTD before the park.

With 2 small children in tow, it took us about 7 minutes to walk from the RV lot to the DLH. Much quicker without them I'm sure!

Ditto. We often go to Goofy's Kitchen for dinner at the end of the day and have to walk back to the structure. I hate that walk at the end of a 12 hour day!
