What would you prefer extreme heat or extreme crowds

I much prefer the heat to crowds. I live in AZ so I'm used to the heat. As bad as it gets in SoCal, it's nothing compared to out here. But being stuck in a line for an hour sucks, no matter what the temps.

Personally, I prefer heat over crowds.

Some types of SoCal heat I actually enjoy. Like those crisp, clear, hot but dry (low humidity) days generated by our occasional Santa Ana winds.

I'll take the heat too.

If by extreme you mean high heat (100+), but low humidity, I'll take the heat. I live in Sacramento, we have lots of hot, dry days.

If you mean the park rides are 20min or less and it's really hot, I'll take the heat! I live in the central valley and heat is a way of life :-)

I'd take the heat over the crowds as well.

heat - as long as it's not Alabama-humid heat (we lived there for three summers - EVIL heat there)

I'll take the heat too. If the crowds are low, you can cool off by trips on rapids and splash. And you can visit indoor cool attractions and shows as you please, without long hot waits outdoors.

Well we're about to find out tomorrow, Saturday. I'm sure it'll be
crowded, the temp is supposed to be ONLY 85. But the heavy crowd
will surely add heat. So I guess we'll get both tomorrow. YIKES...
I must be NUTS...going to DL on a Saturday.

I am another one that would rather deal with the heat. I actually love the heat (I go to school in AZ).

I'll take the heat over the crowds. I have to deal with both since we usually go the week of 4th of July.

Oh yeah, definitely heat. Besides, if there's no crowds, chances are you're going to be on a (most likely) air conditioned ride anyways!

I can deal with either one on their own, I cant cope with both at the same time.

I'm with ya! I'd rather have crowds than heat. A nice cool crowded fall day is more tolerable than a less crowded 100* no breeze day. :)

Me too.

At Christmas time, everyone's in a festive mood. There's an excitement that brews that week. You can feel it. The crowd pulls you along in their merriment.

Don’t be silly....I want it cool, and no crowds...as a matter of fact I want it to be 65F and to have the park to myself. What? That is not an option? Okay then I will just wait until fall

:)

Very good point. Then the whole park gets a little moody.

I agree 110%! We went in July this year with HOT, humid weather and incredible crowds. There's nothing like being corraled in a que and being stuck in the sunny part pressed up against everyone else in the line with you. It's fall and winter only for this family!

I prefer crowds! At least you can find some quiet places, but with the heat it's always hot.

i prefer the crowds over heat, definitely. and i've lived in the desert most of my life.

when it's hot at Disneyland, the kids aren't having fun, and i'm thinking i might as well stayed in Phoenix.

when it's crowded, there's always DCA. :p seriously, we go there enough that it doesn't hurt us to bypass the busier things, and even when you are slowed down, there's enough to see, hear, experience, and enjoy it's still a great trip.
