I just read that there are 2 options for F! seatings. What is the difference? I know many of the details for balcony, but didn't know they had another choice. Details, please!! :)

the debate rages on.

balcony is more centered, but more distant. riverside is much closer, but is not centered (towards HM I believe). riverside also gives a small price break for children whereas balcony is a flat rate across the board.

riverside almost never sells out (if it ever does), balcony almost always does as soon as tickets go on sale. balcony is limited to roughly 20 guests, riverside can handle more like around 50.

balcony is reserved seating, based in part on when you call, but mostly however the seating person chooses to arrange the parties. riverside seating is based on when you check-in. first come, first serve.

We have done both and prefer the balcony. We were front row center, the desserts were wonderful and we enjoyed being above the rest of the crowd.
Riverside puts you closer to the action.

We enjoyed the view from the balcony, but preferred the desserts at riverside.

We've done both riverside and balcony - with kids, I would say riverside is better because there's more space. Balcony I liked the view best and the desserts were OH SO YUMMY. It's more romantic on the balcony - best for just adults ;) (in my oh-so-humble opinion)
