There's a show on Public Radio called Studio 360 which today, in my area anyway, featured Disney Imagineer Eddie Sotto. Sotto starts his spot by talking about Matterhorn Bobsleds. He also mentions the Winnie the Pooh ride.

Apparently, he was also involved in designing the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland.

Here's a link to the site where you can download and listen to the spot:

Click on the link titled "You Must Be This Tall". The spot is a bit whacky, but interesting.

Thanks for the link! :)

Unfortunately, Eddie has been a former Imagineer for many years now. He was really one of their most talented. And he's the only guy I've ever heard do a bang-on voice impersonation of Walt! :)

Perhaps John Lasseter will be doing some re-hires? But then again Sotto may be happy just where he is.

So, where is he now?

So, where is he now?

He operates his own creative design studio and company based in Santa Monica, California. You might notice the website's name is an homage to Walt's original concept for EPCOT.
