May one use the hotel valet parking (Disneyland, or Grand Californian) if they aren’t staying in the hotel?

My husband will be in the area on business and (surprisingly) will be there a whole day early, and he wishes to spend it at Disneyland (I say, surprising, isn‘t it?).

If not, in your opinion(s) which would be more convenient parking in the parking structure, or taking a taxi from his hotel (13 miles away).

Thanks for any advice/opinions.

Oh and while I am thinking of it, what are some fun things for a Dad to do at Disneyland without his kids?

Yes...anyone including non-hotel guests may use valet parking. But it's not cheap. I think the Grand Californian charges $42 for non-hotel guest valet parking.

I believe there are a few restaurants that offer validation for the valet parking either in whole or in part...but I don't recall which. I think Napa Rose is one.
