QuikQuote: Roder stops by each table to say goodbye, thanking each of her guests. A few try to press a $5 or $10 bill into her hand but she refuses, even though Disneyland years ago had ended its policy of prohibiting tips - making the Jungle Cruise guides very happy.
"My reward is my job," Roder says. "I get to go to Disneyland every day."

Thanks Darkbeer, that made me so much more excited for our trip in July! :D We've never been on the WIWF tour. We've done Imagination to Celebration twice, and now I'm that much more excited for this tour!!

I have a question for anyone who knows and would be kind enough to answer:
Is it standard practice for a Hostess or Host to be hired (or well, promoted) internally, having to accrue a certain amount of tenure as a CM first? Or are Hostesses hired externally, maybe auditioning as face characters do?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated! :)
