I was able to buy a digital SLR Camera today off Ebay locally, the camera has a 50x zoom. I was able to take some great shots of the park with the new zoom camera. It appears that a new concrete wall is going up in the rear of the sub lagoon. Well if you like baby ducks, these photos are for you. I was trying to figure out some of the settings on the camera today, so I took lots of floral shots. Some of the flower and bird shots came out absolutely awesome. The photo which appears to be a small stream, is actually the top of the waterfall on the Matterhorn. Man I love this camera, its great!

Thanks for your comment, I really like these pics. The baby ducks were in the moat of the castle and were swiming all over the place.

what digital SLR offers 50x zoom??? Looking at you picture data, if it's a Kodak z740, it's not an SLR. Digital SLR's have interchangable lenses. Your camera, while it may be an upgrade from what you had, is still a point-and-shoot. Don't worry about that, because half of my photo updates are done with an Olympus point-and-shoot. Your camera has a nice big lens to let in enough light to take decent photos, and that's exactly what you're doing. Taking nice decent and very respectable photos. Good work!

The camera is a simulated SLR, you can program it anyway you want. The effective zoom is 50x. I almost bought a minolta camera that has an effective zoom of 52k, but that camera was heavy and would be hard to carry around. Panasonic has a great camera with a 50X zoom and digital image stablization which came out recently. I got the camera from computer geeks in Oceanside, CA. if you google them, they always have things marked down on Friday and Sat. and have some great deals on computers, digital cameras, memory and other fun things.

Thanks I always love the back side of the castle, at night the lighting system is even the same for both sides.
I was at the park tonight and took a few photos, and an employee memo that I picked up on my zoom lens, the custodial staff are having a party this week. :)
