Noticed this book in the emporium this weekend... almost purchased it, what do you all think of it (if you have it/have seen it)? I only thumbed through it briefly, but I did see allot of DLR pics I have never seen before...

I have the book and I like it a lot. It has lots of pictures, of about every ride Disneyland has ever had. I couldn't miss it anymore!

I agree with all the other posters. It is totally worth the money in my opinion. Just so much of the park history with tons of photos.

It was one of the FEW items we bought ( I used a lot of self contro this trip  )

& Its a really nice book ... read it on the car trip home & makes a nice keepsake

I saw a couple of other books there too (Im a book fanatic) that I wanted, but just got this one for now.

Anyone other good book recommendations out there ?

the photos in the book are of value. but really, if you have a bunch of park books, and i have nearly all of them, it's not that good.

the content is nice, but the graphic design of the book is an eyesore beyond believe! bruce gordon, a long time writer for the mouse, did the design. and boy, he should stick to writing. never let a writer design a book! =)

just my 2 cents...as i am a designer myself.

however if you are disney park book fan, then by all means do not pass it up!
=)

I agree about the graphic design... It is however part of my collection and I'd recommend it as well.

DARN IT. I almost bought it last week, and refrained. In fact, I didn't buy anything for myself!! I may see if I can find the book online. I have the one from the 25th anniversary, my mom gave it to me, so I really should get this one too.

i bought this book in december and i LOOVVEE it!! mostly because it had alot of pictures from old rides and attractions that i had never seen before that are now part of "yesterland" the book is really worth buying. especially if pictorial books are something you like to collect from disneyland
