My wife and I went down to DLR today. We got some great pictures during the day. I hope you enjoy them. Right now, I'm about half done with uploading the pictures and it should take another 2 hours or so until they are done. So, please be patient and they should be fully ready by Friday morning.

A few Notes:
They had some filming going on today in the hub about 2-5 pm.
We got a lot of flower pictures
We got a picture from the old motor boat dock where they have put up a camouflage. Tarp so people cannot see the working area behind.
Star Trader is closed; they have opened a display window to the Star Wars area as an entrance/exit.
The White Witch's Meet and Greet area has changed to the Villains Lair
Also, Ca. Screaming was shut down and walking people off of the first hill about 5 pm.
Sunset pictures around the Paradise Pier

Doesn't anybody work nowadays? Disneyland is like Los Angeles Traffic, No matter what time or day there's always someone there..

Thank you all for your kind comments.

Snappy, We felt the same thing yesterday. We expected to have a quiet day at the park. We've been to DLR when the crowds are insane and yesterday wasn't at that level but it was still more than we both expected. At least we got to spend 4 hours at the happest place.

Great pictures! It's so nice to see good pics of normal things in the park instead of 10,000 pointless pictures of dirt in the sub lagoon.

Looked like a really nice day to! :)

I was really happy with a few of the flower pictures that I got. Not all of them came out but a few look like professional pictures. I'm doing a good job of faking my way around now. ;)

Where is the water fountain with Mickey on the top? It looks like it is in Toontown. Is this new, or has it always been there and I never noticed?

It is in Toontown, across from Minnies House.

Bassett1976,

We have the same camera and my husband wanted to know what lens or lenes you use? Also do you shoot in auto, basic zone, or creative zone?

Bassett1976,

I have the standard 18-55 mm lense that comes with the camera and I got a package deal with the 75-300 mm telephoto lense. I usually don't use the telephoto lense too much at DL since things are fairly close to where I'm shooting. Normally I shoot in the auto zone but have tried playing with the other settings. I've been watching a photography show on the DIY network and it's been helping a little.

Thanks!!! We usually shoot in auto as well. The lens we use is a sigma 18-200. Taking pictures is one of my husband's favorite things about Disneyland. Last time we took over 800 in 5 days!!!
