I did a mouseplanet search on Hook's Pointe but there were no recent posts or even any recent reviews so I have a question...

Has anyone eaten there recently and happen to remember any of the menu?

And has anyone had steak there recently? My boyfriend is a picky eater but he does love steak, so if he could get one then we would definately eat there.

Thanks for the help! :)

My daughter and hubby had reservations there for Valentines day and the atmosphere was crowded and rushed they didnt even stay to order but were able to get into Granvilles even though they were told they were booked since it was their first choice for valentines dinner . They had a nice quiet dinner in a romantic setting and the steaks there are very yummy! I would definitley recomend Granvilles for steaks it one of their specialties the Rib Eye is huge and done wonderfully.

Are these not recent enough?

Thanks for the help.

I did see those posts but it mentioned the menu had changed and there was no longer a New York Steak. It made me worry that there would not be a steak entree on the menu at all.

I was thinking of trying Granville's so maybe we'll do that instead. What is the atmosphere like in Granville's? Is it neccessary to dress up a little bit more then usual for dinner there?

In appearance its dressier but once you get inside everyone is in basic resort wear ranging from Dresses to Jeans . It is a more romantic private atmosphere which is a great wind down at some point in a trip.

Hook's Pointe is pretty good, but nothing spectacular. Although the lobster spring rolls have a divine dipping sauce... yum! I actually prefer Storyteller's Cafe for dinner, I just like the atmosphere better for some reason. The food choices are better to me, and the prices are lower. I am not a steak eater though, so I can't help you at all on that front.

I had the steak there in Oct. It was great! Perfectly Cooked and very flavorful. It also came with a sausage of some sort that I passed off to my hubby. Hope this helps.
