I bought and received my 4-day tickets for everyone in the family. If we show up a day earlier, is it easy to upgrade these to 5-day tickets, or do I have to buy a one-day ticket for everyone?

Where did you buy them? I would go back to the vendor who sold you the tickets, and get a price for an upgrade.

Then, shop around and see if you can upgrade for less with any other vendors.

You might ask about upgrading to an AP, to see if that's any cheaper than simply adding on a day.

The plane tickets are more tricky to change or upgrade. Usually the tickets we have bought will let us make changes but we have to pay $100 per ticket. Call the airline and see, Karla.

You can upgrade tickets at Guest Services and also at any Main Entrance ticket booth as well. Depending on which vendor you bought your tickets from (if you went with a travel agency that does packages other then WDTC), then you might want to speak with one of their agents to see what your options are as well.

I bought the tickets online at the Disney website.

I bought the tickets online at the Disney website.I would call WDTC. 1-714-520-5060. Ask them about the changes and the best way to handle. DO NOT do it at the main ticket gates. There, you pay the difference between the online price for a 4 day of $139-169 and the gate price of s 5 day at $219. I called WDTC when I did it, had to go to the WDTC office in DTD and they upgraded me for the online price, which is only a $10 price difference.
