Hey all ...

After pouring over deals & hotel reviews & printing out piles of papers ... We FINALLY made our reservations ... were gonna try the marriott suites.

Were going the first week of March ( we'll be able to get on the original pirates once more justn time - yay )

Im assuming its going to be COLD ... But - any ideas of just how cold it is there normally at that time of year ? a lot of rain ??

thanks :)

Typical temperatures for that time of year are highs in the 70s, lows in the 50s. I wouldn't classify that as cold.

It might rain. Be prepared with jackets to wear in the evening when it cools down.

THANKS :)

we'll come prepared for anything ...

Ive been in the rain ( many many yrs ago )& loved it for the fact that there are usually NO lines / crowds ... but then on the other hand of course ... Im sure a lot of attractions just arent the same ( if even open ) in the rain .. hmm

Oh well .. just happy to be going - whatever the weather may bring !

Layer, layer, layer.

And bring your rain gear. We've gone in March and usually change from shorts to jeans around dinner time. Being from Michigan anything above 50 is warm for us. Shorts may be stretching it for normal people:rolleyes:

Have a great time!:) :) :)

The biggest bummer about rain is no fireworks. However, it's a good trade for low crowds and a possibility of riding back to back on a ride. We were able to ride the Matterhorn twice in a row because of low attendance. That never happened to us before. Alice and the teacups are the first to close. However, the Orange Stinger in DCA stays open. Now I *know* why they call it the Orange *stinger*. It stings when the rain hits you. lol. It's fun though. It's a little soggy but so much fun it's hard to notice until the blisters show up when you forget to change your socks.
