Just curious. I think it was $30 when I went the first time. That was around 1998 ....I think. How about you?

Does anybody know how much it cost to take a 2 year old into Disneyland in 1966? An adult? Interesting question, but I'm betting most people won't have a clue.

Well, it was in 1957 and I was only two so I got in for free, but I think my folks paid less than ten dollars for their ticket books.

No clue. It was Aug. 1985. My aunt and uncle got a "free" trip for buying a car. It was in the middle of the 30th Celebration, and Chevy had a promo deal going.

I don't remember the cost the first time I went to Disneyland. The earliest price I can recall at the moment was something like $12.95 for an Adult Ticket. I think I was 7 or 8 at the time. And I would always think that for my family of 6 to go, it would cost $100 with admission and to buy some food.

The first time I went I was 6 months old in 1958 so, I don't know. Growing up during the 60's and 70's I know my parents always had to buy ticket books but, I'm not sure if there was also an admission price.

I don't know what my folks paid for my admission ticket, but their Adult tickets were $1 each. Of course they had to purchase individual attraction tickets for all of us on top of that for each ride because the first ticket books weren't introduced until later that year (A,B,C only...D's & E's weren't added until 1959).

The first time I went was around 1979. I went with my best friend as we were visiting her mom during summer vacation. I think we paid around $25-$30 each for the ticket books. I remember hoarding our tickets for the 'best' rides....those wonderful 'E' tickets! I saved one of the 'A'tickets and my ticket booklet for my scrapbook. It was so hard trying to decide which rides to go on to make sure we had enough tickets to do all the 'really fun stuff'. I want to say that you could buy individual tickets for various rides, if you ran out of the ticket you needed, but I could be mixing it up with another park!

Bruce- you didn't go until you were a CM? ;)

I haven't a clue what the price was. I was a baby and it was 1969. My dad took me so many times during my childhood so basically my DH can blame him for my love of Disneyland.

I was about 8-9 (1960-61) when I first went to DL. I was so excited, I grew up in Utah and loved to watch The Wonderful World of Disney every Sunday night. So when my Dad decided to take the family to DL, I couldn't believe it. That day was the most magical day of my life. Being in California and seeing orange trees!! Walking through the gates of DL!! What a feeling. I remember not wanting the day to end and when we had to walk back under the arch to leave I was sad, but what a great memory. About the price? I have no idea.

Don't know. It was sometime in the 70s when they still had the ticket books. The first time I remember buying my own admission was in like 90 or 91. It was $20 during the SoCal residents promo. My friend and I always tried to go a few times every year during that time. After a few years of doing that we became annual passholders. Then in the millenium I got really possessed or something and decided to come work for the mouse.

When I was young, Disneyland only cost a nickle, And We Liked It, even in the snow, uphill both ways.

Actually, the very first time I went was April 15, 1981. The A-E tickets were still in use at the time, we bought all-day passports that we pinned to our shirts. I don't remember the price, probably $15 at most.

I don't know how much my parents paid during my childhood DL trips, but the first time I went with no adults it was $20. That was 1985. That was also the year I got my first AP and it was $79, no blockout days, free parking included.

I don't remember. It would have probably been in early 1964 when I was just a few months old. We lived just a couple blocks away when I was too young to appreciate or remember it.

I don't know, but I'd like to :D
My mother went when she was pregnant with me, in 1963. Can I count that as my first visit? :D

The first visit I remeber would be about 1970. I wonder if there's a data base somewhere with that info.

There was a special when I went in late 1993, 5 days for $55.

My first annual pass was in 1997 or 1998 and it was $99 for an out of state AP.

My dad was in the Navy, so we always got the military discounted ticket books. They were $1 for the longest time, so I guess that's what it cost to get me in. Despite the low price, we didn't go that often. :( My DD has gone to DLR more by the age of 5 than I did by the age of 25. Lucky girl! :)

Same for me, I was 1 year old and it was 1960.

I don't remember how much the tickets cost the first time I went. We practically grew up in DL. My parents took us every other year or so. I *do* remember that my brothers and I, when we were older and allowed to go around on our own, would pool our dinner money together, buy one hot dog meal to share, and then spend the rest of our money on extra e-tickets. It got so bad that my dad made sure we went to one meal a day with them to make sure we actually ate something at DL!! LOL!!

Ditto! And we always came home with an A-tecket or two... ;)
