Hi my family and i are going on a trip to DL on Dec. 6th. If anyone could give me any idea of how the crowds might be and any tips on december entertainment that would be great...this will be our first trip during the 50th anniversery, we went last spring. Thanks for the advice everyone.

Crowds normally the first week in December aren't bad, but since this is the 50th, I would expect moderately busy weekdays.

There is so much to do Holiday time at Disneyland, you can decorate cookies, take the Christmas tour (which is fun and ends with parade seating and a snack!), watch the aforementioned parade, gawk at the lights when dusk comes and IASW lights up (truly amazing!) wander downtown disney looking at the lights and decorations, tour the hotels, visit santa at the hotels, DL and DCA. Eat fun holday snacks, sip hot cocoa and of course ride the Haunted Mansion over and over.

We're going to be there on the 5,6, 7th.

You will LOVE DL that time of year. The Holiday feeling is amazing! I'll be there Dec. 7 through 11. Have a great time!

So we are going to Disneyland Tuesday and staying till late sunday. we are going to be in disneyland, universal studios and sandiego....i was wondering a couple of things:

What is the weather for next week projected to be like?

If low temperatures--what sort of clothing should we pack? layers or warm things?

We will be in disneyland the majority of the time, what are crowds suposed to look like for that week?

If crowded, any tips for things to do besides rides????

thanks for the help!!!

According to accuweather.com (which isn't always accurate) it is supposed to be in the low 70s during the day and 40s at night. I'd do the layering and store any clothes you don't want to wear during the day in a locker.

Have fun!

Weather.com says rain for Saturday, Dec 10, but mostly sunny otherwise, with highs in the upper 60s, lows in the upper 40s. But these forecasts change frequently, so you'd be better off checking the weather sites yourself for up-to-date info. Even the Disneyland web site posts weather forecasts.

If low temperatures--what sort of clothing should we pack? layers or warm things? Here's the previous thread you started about winter attire for DL with several replies (http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/showthread.php?t=50133).
