Can you really swim in the pools at the beginning of December? Really?
(I come from Canada-find it hard to even fathom!!)

If it is nice out, how come they close the waterslides at Knotts?

Will we need gloves and jackets?

Thanks!:)

Depends on how sensitive you are to cold.

Hats and gloves wouldn't be a bad idea to pack. They don't take up much room in the suitcase.

It's been unseasonably warm so far this fall/winter in S. Cal. We are from Phoenix and pack jackets and hats for our December DL trips. However, we have very thin blood and drag out jackets when temps hit the 60's. Dec. temps in Anaheim are in the 60-70 degree range during the day, and dip into the 40-50's at night.

We do swim in December, too. Hitting the hot tub/jacuzzi after a day at the parks is a necessity for my aching feet/legs.

You'll probably find it quite warm compared to your climate. Dress in layers. That is always the safest bet.
