Can the Aladdin show at DCA be videotaped? Disneyland and DCA usually let you videotape just about anything, but this one might be a stretch. Does anybody know? Thanks!

Yes, videotaping is allowed. They only ask that you turn off external video lighting.

Absolutely no problem. Just don't use your video light or a CM will come and interrupt you. There's enough lighting on the stage to pick up what's going on - even the magic carpet sequences. And on that point - try and sit in the rear section of the theatre - that way you'll get the whole parade when Prince Ali comes in on his elephant - also you'll get better shots of the magic carpet. If you're sat up front it tends to be right above your head! If you intend taping the whole show it's about 20 -25 minutes in length so have a new tape and a full battery. Use a monopod to fix the camera onto then you won't be holding it up throughout the entire duration of the show. You'll have several minutes to get organised before the show starts. OH! And be mindful of those around you - they come to watch the show too!:) :) :)

Actually, it's closer to 45-50 minutes.

Great news ... thanks! Thanks for the tips too! I really love that Disney lets us videotape things like this. Thank you!
