Tonight's the night, right? 1st night of snow? We're going next week for the 1st time ever during the holiday season. I've read quite a bit of good stuff here about the snow after the fireworks ... what I'd love to find out is where exactly is the best place to watch from if you want to enjoy both the fireworks and the snow? Having never been for this, my initial thoughts are that the spot right in front of the castle would be great for the fireworks - but not so great for the snow ... on the other hand, I would guess that Main Street would be great for the snow - but not so great for the fireworks. Am I way off? Where is the best place for both? Thanks!

The locations for snow will be marked on the map with a snowflake... Watch the fireworks at It's a Small World -- it snows all along Small World Way.:)

Ah ha, the map will be great! Thanks! I wouldn't have thought of Its a Small World. Thanks for that tip too.

I'd say somewhere on main street just before the photo shop. The only downside is that you won't see some of the stuff projected onto the castle and might not have a clear view of the matterhorn. That being said, you'd have the same issue in the Small World area.

Last year my daughter and I were lucky to get "stuck" on one of the Storybook Land canal boats - what an absolutely wonderful place to watch the fireworks - we also made it off in time to catch some snow. Other than that, I agree that the road leading up to It's a Small World is great! Enjoy!!

The first snow of the season was great tonight after the fireworks right in the middle of Main Street, across from the New Century Timepieces watch store. I got there about 8:55 and that was were the back of the crowd was, even with the park being so crowded today. But by the time the show began at 9:25, the crowd was packed in all the way back to the Christmas tree. So if you don't get there at least a half hour early, you can probably forget it. The snow as good as always, and they even have Julie Andrews wishing everyone a magical Holidays.
