BTW, on our last visit to DCA a couple of weeks ago we saw a small group of people staring at a lamp post with a tree next to it.

Right away I'm thinking there's something going on and I remembered a reference once about a 'walking tree'. Sure enough the 'tree' started to move ! Really wierd when you see the face.

So, anyhoo, how often does this tree hang out and where? We saw her(?) in the Golden State area. Does it move around the park?

I love DeVine. She always seems to be in a good mood. I is great to see the crowd she gathers that just watches her move around. DCA also has Orchid and Hyacinth (sp) they hang out in Bountiful Valley Farm. Another oddity they used to have was the three bags full. These guys would pretend they were fake (i.e. an inanimate object) and blend into a wall before spooking kids and adults alike when they get too close and the bags "come to life". At toonfinder.com (http://www.toonfinder.com) they have wonderful images of DeVine (http://toonfinder.com/dlresort/dca/divine.html) and the Her other plan friends (http://toonfinder.com/dlresort/dca/bountifulvalley.html). Unfortunately none of 3 bags full.

Yes, vine describes it better. DeVine. I'll start looking for the other 'creatures' now.

I saw DiVine for the first time last Sat (3/9) She is awesome, a excellent and extremely talented CM. I did not know about the other live plants. I will have to look now! I got so many pictures of her too. Terriffic!!

If you want to see pictures of Three Bags Full it turns our MPer KarenW2 has pictures (http://members.cox.net/barry.wallis/parades_and_shows.htm) on her DCA site (http://members.cox.net/barry.wallis/disneys_california_adventure.htm)

We saw the Three Bags Full one time (never knew they had a name until now  ) and haven't seen them since. I take it they aren't around anymore? We've spent a lot of time watching DiVine. She is fabulous. I didn't know they had others in the farm area. We'll have to keep our eye out for them.

Wow, "Mouse", thanks for the plug! :D Maybe we should start charging admission to our site! :D Glad you enjoyed the pics so far. We'll be adding some more over the weekend hopefully, so check back next week for some updates, including the walking flowers!

We also updated the email address for comments, since the "At Home" network went bankrupt or whatever & Cox changed our email addresses. So feel free to drop us a line & tell us what you think.

Love DeVine. Very novel - imaginitive idea - talented CM.

The flowers are okay. Not nearly as cool as DeVine.

3 Bags Full is LAME...at least from the pic. People in a fabric cover that move. Ohh. Don't we do this at home with the kids and a blanket? ;)

Lame! :crying:

While I must agree that they are not in the same league as 'the plants' it sounds as if you have never seen three bags full live.

But perhaps it was this sentiment that resulted in them getting cut from the part

::sigh::

Yeah - okay - maybe you're right. Since I've never even seen them in action before - I can hardly say they are lame.

Let me rephrase... ;)

3 Bags Full doesn't appear to be nearly as entertaining as DeVine.

You know what is odd... I go to DCA a lot and I only saw 3 bags full in action like one time and that was for a few seconds since I was walking by and the other time was on the promo for DCA with Rosie and the Drew Carry Show cast... they do a good job of being trappen in strechy pillow cases but they don't seem very californian... more EPCOT.:)

Also I wonder who had a "DeVine" first... DCA or AK?
