Will the rides be open or is it just for trick or treating?

Rides will be open, but probably not all of them...

We went 10/22. It looked like the only two rides that were not running were Maliboomer and the river ride.

What was open...

ToT
Animation
Screamin'
Sun Wheeel
Mulholland Madness
Orange Stinger
King Triton's Carousel
Jumpin' Jellyfish
Soarin'
And the 4 Flik's Fun Fair rides.

Most of the Games of the Boardwalk were open and free, though you didn't win anything (maybe an extra piece of candy, but EVERYONE could get PLENTY of candy.)

Restaurants open

Taste Pilots Grill
Award Wieners
Burger Invasion
Pizza Oom Mow Mow

Many gift shops were CLOSED, though a few, including Greetings from California were open.

The area between Bathroom row (next to Golden Dreams) and the plane (west end) next to Soarin' was closed (to not disturb the GCH guests).

In other words, the THREE rides not open were the Grizzly River Run, Maliboomer, and the Golden Zephyr.

When you look at the event map, any shop, restaurant, ride or attraction that does NOT have a map reference number by it is NOT open for the event (although I think they put a number on one restaurant but don't reference it anywhere on the map, so someone goofed up on Arial's Grotto).

But attractions like Muppet*Vision, It's Tough to be a Bug, Golden Dreams, Seasons of the Vine, the Redwood Creek Play area, S.S. rustworthy and the other two water play areas, and the Tortilla and Bakery exhibits are also closed.

Also, they cover up the beer truck, some folks would call that an attraction ;)
