Not very, actually. One of the biggest problems I've had with the fake snowfall is that it isn't cold at all...

Trust me, real snow fall can be not all its cracked up to be in a Disney Theme Park! Not the last new year, but the one before (03/04) It started snowing on New Years Eve at Disneyland Resort Paris, it started while I was on IASW, I came out and literally screamed with Joy! It was a great novelty to start with, but this was probably between 10-11am, and I was to be in the park til 1am. Soon my feet started to get wet, and then I started to get damn cold! Before long there was no snow on the paths as they had spread Salt to stop people slipping. I still had an awesome trip, and there were some great photos to be taken, with the whole park covered with real snow, it was truly magical, but by midnight I was absolutely freezing, I had lost all feeling in my feet! Okay, so I left the park with a smile, but I had to bathe my feet in warm water as soon as I got back to the Hotel. It truly was magical, but it would have been much nicer had it snowed on New Years Day when the park was only open til 8pm, I could have still got the photos and I wouldn't have had to freeze to death! (LOL I know, there is no pleasing some people!!!)

Not to dash your hopes but to set your expectations accordingly, it's not really fake snow either. It's soap bubbles that look like snow falling but aren't cold and don't 'stick' at all.

That handsome scientist dude who works at MousePlanet wrote a column (http://www.mouseplanet.com/kkrock/dockrock-6.htm) explaining how the snow at Disneyland works.

Yeah, don't eat the snow. Two or three years ago, we were at DL watching the Fireworks from the StoryBook Ride. After the fireworks, the limp posts started shooting out snow. Well, my daughter who was about 6 at the time, tried to catch some on her tongue. Not good... It's just soap.

What is Santa's Reindeer Round-UP and Santa's Beach Blast? Do they run everyday or just on the weekends???
Also, is the parade everyday or just on the weekends???

I hope we get to see it all on our mid-week trip!
I have never see DL during holiday time and I can't WAIT!!! (I am so into this trip I could totally see myself getting halfway there and realizing I forgot my child at home.. he he he)

chinamama - The dates listed by Rteneyck were sent out to travel agents yesterday....so they should be more current (you would think) than those listed on the calendar.

Santas Beach Blast is at California Adventure in the front "hub" area where the sun fountain is. A band comes and plays ( they are pretty good too) and Santa is there and Mickey and Minnie sometimes...and you can get pics and such..its cool ..

I dont know what Santas Reindeer Round up is though?
