It will be very crowded that weekend. Most all people are off of work and/or school that Friday after Thanksgiving.

It will be difficult to find any hotel deals for that weekend. Try the usual suspects (Expedia, Orbitz, HotWire, Travelocity) and also check out mousesavers.com (http://www.mousesavers.com).

The Christmas parade will be running and the decorations will all be up.

No major refurbs are scheduled for that timeframe.

Why don't you just consider the Grand Californian?

If you're considering going that far off property, I suggest you look into the Marriott or the Hilton at the Convention Center, first.

You could walk from the Hilton Garden Inn but it's not close. It will be a mile at least. The Hilton and Marriott at the Convention Center are much closer. Yes, Sunday would be a better day for Disneyland.

Two and a half miles, actually. We stay there often, but always drive or catch the shuttle.
