I wanted to see if anyone knew if the weekdays following the labor day weekend are usually crowded at Disneyland? I'm going on Wednesday for my brithday and hope its not crowded...

it shouldn't`t be bad at all. The crowds will be gone by the day you go

We always go the Tuesday and wednesday after Labor day every year. It is not crowed at all. More like a ghost town really... I hope we see you there to say Happy Birthday. We are from San Diego too ;)

We went the week after Labor Day several years ago - best time we ever had! (previous trips were in July and August). The park was not crowded at all. We also went to Universal and walked on Jurassic Park over and over until we were sick of it. It's definetly the time to go!

I'll be there on Friday. Looking forward to some calmness.

But the day after Labor Day is also the beginning of the off-season hours!
Awwwwwwww!

Week days:
DL closes at 8:00 p.m.
DCA closes at 6:00 p.m.

Six o'clock!? Why would a theme park close before sunset?
Awwwwwwww!

No fireworks. (Except weekends)
No twinkling lights on Main Street. (Except weekends)
No gawdy lights on Paradise Pier. (Except weekends)
Awwwwwwww!

On the other hand:

• I do not think I have ever ridden both side of the Matterhorn bobsleds back-to-back (i.e., the Fantasyland-side queue and Tomorrowland-side queue).

• SOARIN' OVER CALIFORNIA might have significantly shorter lines, capable of allowing back-to-back experiences.

• I can TALK TO CRUSH all day and not be shut out. ("Cowabunga!")

• I can probably scrutinize PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN like I've never scrutinized before.
("Arrrrg! Yar be scrutin' my scabbard, you wharf rat! Arrrh!")

So September 6-30 might be good for something, then.

When is Christmas, this year?
;)
