Currently planning our second trip to DL (and other attractions) , this time early summer May 31 to June 7. Last year we went in April - cool weather but not too busy... How much worse will it be? Does it get really hot? How busy would it be (will be going to the parks on weekdays only )?
Do they still offer the special assitance pass for those who have trouble walking around?
I plan to get the pkg deal (kids go free) - part of the pkg says "storytelling session" what and where is this?
Final question:) .... which character breakfast do you like the most ? (ages 6, 9, 15 and two adults attending ) THANKSSSSSSSSSS!!!:D

1. This is PEAK season... busy every day. Start early (there's no early entry, but the park opens earlier), use Fast Pass, and be patient. Bring a water bottle, and refill it all day... being hydrated makes it a lot less stressful. Be sure to take advantage of the TWO parks... you can, for now, get a Fast Pass at DL and run over to DCA and get a Fast Pass there at the same time... or send one of your party to do it =)
2. Yes, assistance passes are still available, but "wheelchair lines" get just as bad as regular lines at this time of year
3. Storytelling is at Aladdin's Oasis in Adventureland... the show is about twenty minutes and pretty cute... I'd plan to see it when you want to take a break. There will also be a "Mickey" show at the Fantasyland Theater, and Fantasmic should be back by then (you can call 714-781-4400 to reserve seats for Fantasmic and Electrical Parade at DCA). Also be sure to see BLAST at DCA.
4. DO NOT waste your time waiting around to see the Disneyland parade... the two parades at DCA are much better. Remember that "bag checking takes a LOT of time, so bring in the bare minimum and use lockers when you can (one flat fee pays for your whole day). AND if your travel agent gives you vouchers (as opposed to the yellow tickets) remember you can redeem those the evening before your first day in the parks... there are almost never lines at the ticket booths after 5pm and that's one line you can avoid before you even get in... AND, if there are long lines to get in, always default to DCA as that line will ALWAYS move much faster and you can head back to DL when the lines get shorter.
Have a great trip.

If this morning was any indication, it'll be packed! I think of this long weekend as a "minor" holiday, but geez, was it packed!!!

Definitely start early, take a break in the afternoon, then head back for a night of fun! It'll probably be warm, but weather here is really weird...there's also a chance it'll still be cool! June tends to be sort of gloomy with lots of overcast days.

Well it will have to be warmer than it is here in the frigid land of 10,000 lakes (Minnesota). Thanks for the info!
