View Full Version : The Pioneer for Camping Out at Disneyland

I found this link for this article on the Yahoo! main page, listed as one of the headlines. This man, was the pioneer for camping out early for Disneyland. He did it when Dland opened to the public on July 18, 1955. He arrived at 1 am, one hour before anyone else. So for all my fellow campers who stayed at DCA to get in early like I did, this man started it all. Here is the link:

Here is an article about the guy who was the first paid guest and received lifetime passes. Now that was one smart guy! ;)

It says he wasnt invited? He holds no gredge?
Why would he need to be invited if he has a lifetime pass!

If I were him I woulda camped out all night again, just to be cool. Wearing my 50 year old mickey ears.
