Here is a modest report.
I was in line at 7:30 a.m. for the 8:00 a.m. opening today (Mon. July 4th).
I was also inside DCA at the rope drop at 10:00 a.m.
I wanted to be early for (a.) Space Mountain; (b.) Talk To Crush.
Good news. -- both are open, soft-wise.
SM's finale, as the ride ends, made me laugh out loud, not because it was funny, but because it was fun and I could not smile wide enough.
Definitely a keeper!
An aside: Cast member at the Monorail mentioned to a guest that SM "may" be open, so the CMs are not committing to telling guests that SM is truly open.
I saw the first show of the day (10:45 a.m.) of Talk to Crush.
I definitely want to see Crush again.
The show will change every time, since the Q&A is not predictable.
I don't know how they do CGI in real time.
Crush's eyes get wide when he emotes surprise.
How do they coordinate the voice with the eyes (the focus) in real time?
The Q&A is like Art Linkletter's "Kids Say the Funniest Things."
Crush asked one of the youngsters where she was from, and she said, "Arizona."
Crush asked about whether she did any surfing in Arizona, and she said "yes."
Crush spun around, and said something like, "Wow! I gotta remember to try the gnarly waves in Arizona!"
I don't know how Crush can keep a straight face.
I like Talk to Crush alot.
I don't remember smiling so big for so long.

Yea, its all interactive with crush. Officially space isnt open till the 15th, hence CM's cant say it is cause they can close the attraction at anytime.
