I was a little kid in LA.
I'm sure my dad took me and sister soon after the park opened.
My earliest memories are of Tom Sawyer's Island.

not born yet, my first memories were staying at the Grand Hotel (anyone remember that one?), standing in line forreeevveerrrr for the sub ride, small world, pirates, being so tired I could hardly stand up but begging my parents to stay longer, people mover (whoot), sky ride through the matterhorn (one of my favorites...it was pure magic to see the park from above) and the haunted mansion. My parents bought me a wind up Mickey Mouse alarm clock and I still have it :)

not born yet and my first memories of dl was unbearable excitement to go. half way through the day, hating the lines and being miserable...then it got dark and all the lights came on and I was re-energized and never want to leave. Night is still my favorite time at the parks and I now leave halfway through the day and come back...LOL

I absoultly loved the pirate ship and was heartbroken when they took it out

My mom distinctly remembers watching Uncle Walt's unveiling of the park map in 1954, and the Opening Day ceremonies in '55. She was (counting on fingers) twelve when the park opened.

I was three living in Denver, now I work here. I first visted the Park in 1959. Peter Pan Flight is the ride that stuck with me for many years. I did not get back to visit the Park again until 1969. :)

My parents were barely born.
My first visit was last year so my memories aren't quite so exciting *lol*

Considering I was born in April of 1956...hmmm....9 months from July 1955 means Conception time! I will have to ask mom where it happened. lol

I was exactly one month and ten days old. I was laying in my crib, sleeping and doing other things that babies do. I was contemplating my first visit to Disneyland, and how I couldn't wait to go there. My mom and dad were not financially in a position to go, and we didn't go until I was about 12 years old. In the meantime, on July 17, 1955, I was trying to create my resume in my head so that when I retire I can go to Disneyland and get a job! My retirement dream started when I was that young, lol!!! :)

Watching on TV and telling my parents I wanted to go. They were in their 20s and they wanted to go too. My mother wound up taking us a lot when we were toddlers, just to hang out in the afternoons: It cost her $1 and we got in free.
