The height restriction for Autopia is 52". Does this mean my 3 year old can't ride by himself or that he can't ride at all? Last time I went to Disneyland little ones could ride as long as they were with an adult. The same for Redwood Creek in California Adventure, it looks like something my 3 year old would really like, but the height restriction is 42".

They just need to be with an adult- both attractions.

He will have to ride with you in Autopia. You can take a child over one year old on Autopia, but to ride by themselves they need to be 52". He can still man the steering wheel, and you can press the gas pedal (and man are they hard to hold down these days... your thigh will get a good workout!!!)

Redwood Creek Challenge Trail just has a few activities that shorter kids can't do... my son would've loved the little rock climbing wall thing, he's done way bigger ones, but he's too short to do theirs, kinda sucks, but that's OK I guess. There is also a rope swing type ride that he has to be taller for.
