Last year, I purchased a Socal AP (w/out parking pass). It was probably the best purchase I made last year. This year, my friend and I are planning to buy Deluxe APs including the parking pass.

We both live locally, my friend lives in Fullerton while I live in Chino Hills. We think it's best to split the cost of buying just one $49 parking pass, as we think it's unnecesary to buy 2. My question is, do they assign parking pass to one vehicle (i.e. do parking attendants check your license plate) or can you use the parking pass for any car?

I say this because we will take turns bringing our car to DL each time we visit and would rather save $49 if we can. Thanks for any responses.:)

The parking pass is assigned to one passholder, not one vehicle. You decide which one of you will have the "P" icon (for parking, obviously) printed on your AP.

The parking is valid for any vehicle, as long as the passholder with the parking option on their AP is in the vehicle at the time.
