I would like to find out how much they cost, and I heard that you can also order a replica (wood, lucite???) to display.

Does DL have a brochure or anything to help select a style? I would love to get one for my daughter and son in law, and since they are both Marines and away from their 'real' home, I can keep the replica for myself!!!

Thanks!!!

Here's what I know about the bricks. You can get an order form at City Hall, Guest Relations (inside DCA) or the Newsstand. If you happen to see the little green cart parked behind ticket booth 7 they have them also. The bricks will be in the ground for ten years, then they are subject to being taken out to make room for other people. They cost $150.00 and the 50th brass plate is included in that price. You can even order them on line at www.disneyland.com. :)

When I ordered mine last fall, they sent me this contact info. Don't know if it is still valid.

"If you should have any questions or concerns regarding a brick
sponsorship, please feel free to contact the Magical Memories office at
(800) 760-3566 or email dl.bricks@disney.com. Cast Members are
available to assist you Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm, and Saturday from
8am-4pm Pacific Standard Time."

Also, my understanding of the 10-year issue wasn't that they were automatically planning to remove the bricks after 10 years, just that they only guarantee them until then. I believe that you get a refund if your brick is removed within the 10-year period but not after. And they are free to remove your brick if it gets cracked, etc.

Sorry for resurfacing a pretty old thread, but I didn't think it warranted a thread of it's own. I e-mailed Disney's Walk of Magical Memories about the broken bricks that are out there and here's what Jamie said.

If a brick becomes damaged and requires to be replaced, a replacement brick will be ordered with our vendor. Depending on the extent of the damage, the brick would be replaced with a blank paver until the replacement became available or the current brick would remain in place until the new one arrives.
Thought it might settle some nerves to the people who have one or are considering buying one and are scared away by the agrement policy.

I purchase one recently for my parents for their anniversary (they honeymooned in Disneyland in 73). Our family is going for a reunion in a couple of weeks and I have yet to receive the map of where my brick will be located. I have the coordinates, just not the map. Does anyone have a map that they can post of send me?
Thanks!

How quick do they get the bricks in once ordered?

They have a nice brochure that shows the logo options (50th medallion, wedding bells, mouse ears, Mickey's hands, and exclusives for passholders and cast members). It also shows pictures of the acrylic and wood replicas you can buy, and explains the limitations on what you can say.

They will mail or fax the brochure to you if you call. I'd opt for the mailed version, though, because it's in color and the details show better. As mentioned previously, they are $150, but premium passholders get a discount of 10 percent. The replicas area $35 each, and you'd have to add CA tax (7.75 percent) to the stone as well as the replica. The telephone number is (800) 760-3566, or you can e-mail dl.bricks@disney.com. They're called commemorative paving stones for the Disneyland Walk of Magical Memories. Hope that helps!

I e-mailed DL Bricks <DL.Bricks@disney.com> and asked if we could order it online, and got this reply.
It came with a pdf attachment (order form).

Thank you for your interest in Disney's "Walk of Magical Memories."
Located between the entrances to Disneyland Park and Disney's California
Adventure Park, you may become part of Disneyland Resort history by
sponsoring a 10-inch hexagonal brick along Disney's "Walk of Magical
Memories".

Please review the included attachments of the sponsorship order form and
application agreement. Although sponsorship orders may not be placed
online, the application can be submitted to our office by mail or fax.
We hope that the following information is helpful as you prepare to
place your order.

Each brick may contain 3 lines of script with up to 16 characters per
line. Spaces and punctuation are counted as characters. All names must
be separated by a space, comma or hyphen. Inscriptions are
automatically centered.

Brick inscriptions may include proper person or family names, a single
date, and a place (such as Anaheim, CA). No other information,
including, but not limited to, slogans, titles, memorials, messages,
copyright information, company or group names may be included on the
brick.

A brick sponsorship is $150 and for an additional $35 you can purchase a
5"x5" acrylic or wooden replica of your brick for your desk or mantel.
Please note that although a brick sponsorship will not be taxed, a
replica order will be taxed (7.750% state tax) if it is being shipped to
California or Florida. Shipping is included in the price of the
replica.

Please note that all bricks ordered with the special 50th medallion logo
will be placed in a reserved 50th Anniversary section located near the
Main Gate Entrance to Disneyland Park.

The installation of brick sponsorships currently being accepted is
scheduled to take place during early to mid May of 2006, barring
unforeseen delays. We encourage you to call our office during or after
that time for updates on the latest bricks installed, especially if you
are planning on visiting Disneyland Resort to view it.

After your order has been processed, you will receive a confirmation
mailer. It will include your sales receipt, a Certificate of
Authenticity and a map of the walkway. The map will highlight the
section of the walkway in which your brick will be installed.

If you should have any questions regarding a brick sponsorship or would
like to place an order over the phone, please feel free to contact the
Magical Memories office at (800) 760-3566. Cast Members are available
to assist you Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm, and Saturday from 8am-4pm
Pacific Standard Time.

Thank you and we look forward to your sponsorship!

Sincerely,
Disney's Walk of Magical Memories
