Hi everyone....I was just figuring out how much I spend when I goto the park...it sure adds up:

Lunch: $20
Snacks: $12
Dinner: $20
Souvenirs: $30-50

Thats for 2 people times 20-30 per year...thats $3,060

of course that is the high end....what about you?

I usually spend about $20 ($10 lunch, $10 dinner) each time I go. I don't shop every time.

I go usually about 30 times a year, so I guess I spend about $600 a year there only on food, maybe another $50 on shopping.

As little as possible. Usually one meal (I try to eat before and/or after I go, to save money) and a couple snacks, like a churro or a dole float.

I don't even want to think about how much I spend ..... I treat it like I do any other "fun" money, I take what I can afford to spend each time, leave all credit cards at home and enjoy each trip.....

Last time in November I spent way too much!!!! But I haven't been there since April 2001. I bought everything insight.

-a watch, jewerly, 5 attraction t-shirts, 3 stuffed animals, and a bunch of other stuff, cd's , you name I bought it.

My friend and I were only there for 3 days and I knew I wasn't gonna come for another 5 months. I spent a totall of about $1100 on food and shopping:( and I'm still making up for that!
But it sure was worth it.

I'm the DL cheap***, when we go to DL, the only thing we buy are the tickets, and parking. Even my Mickey hat was a gift!

Thats all going to change when I get my AP though! :D

I spend an average of $45 dollars per trip and that's mainly on food. When I buy souveniers, it ranges wildly and can get up into the hundreds, as it did when the Nightmare Haunted Mansion cart was out. I'm trying to keep more accurate records this year (New Year's resolution), but I'm guessing I average about 30 trips per year. In the "off season" I sometimes hit the park twice a week.

It really chaps my hide when they say that APs aren't spending in the parks. I spend a heck of a lot in Disneyland - way more than any tourist family could in one annual trip.

In an afternoon(4 or 5 hrs.), I can easily spend $20 just on food. The kid's meal, churro, whip float, and occasional trip to the Candy Palace really add up!

About $40 - $60 on food per day, plus at least $150.00 on soundtrack CDs, Disneyland-related books, E-Ticket Magazines, attraction posters and clothing per trip.

Ok now I guess I don't spend as much as I thought since I rarely buy stuff to eat there anyway. But oddly I don't buy stuff there that much, unless its for holidays and so forth.

I would say anywhere from $40-80. I'm a spendaholic. However, it's a horrible place to be when you're really broke, you know after spending all your dough to get the annual pass... :)

I usually plan for $10-$15 per meal per person. To be honest, on souveniers, I don't look at my receipts.....I don't want to see the damage until I'm home and sitting down!!!

I can't believe you don't eat at Disneyland! the food there is soooooooo good.... it's kind of pricey, but so what? You only live once! Unless you're James Bond.

I probably average between $30-$40 a visit. We usually will eat at least one big meal there, and at least a few snacks or drinks. Of course we always are on the lookout for new and cool merchandise which really can increase the price-per-visit. All in all I think Disney's making money off of this AP :D

I am assuming you are talking to me...

well I just don't get hungry when I am there, plus I am usual only there for a little bit anyway so I can't work up an apetite.

Never seem to get out of there without dropping $50. Sometimes a hundred if we stay later or buy the kids something.

I usually budget $50.00-$75.00 a day for our visits. We usually snack in the park, but eat outside.

A 1-day trip is about $100 for me (obviously entrance to both parks and parking is free)

Probably about $40 on food
Another $40 on new toys
$20 on assorted stuff (like arcade, Downtown Disney, etc)

A vaction (2-3 days without counting hotel) is probably in the $500-$600 range for me. Last Xmas we did a big trip with my parents and I would say we spent about $1500 without counting the rooms.

I spend about 20 in the park each time I go on food and around 10 on other things. The last time I went I was planning on spending around 200 for a nice Disney leather jacket, but guess what, after walking into every shop in both DL and DCA I could not find one.

It is sad how bad Disney stories have become.

If you count all the souvenirs I buy...

WAY TOO MUCH! Disneyland smiles when I come down to the park. They know I will seperate from my dollars easily!

I'd say, as a family of 5...if we do not eat at the Blue Bayou (which is over $100 alone for dinner)...we spend at least $100 to $150 or more a day....not counting the price to get in.
And we usually stay for at least 3 to 4 days. :(

None, usually. Although I did buy the TRON CD a couple days ago.

Ok, you guys must live in So. Ca. 30 times per year.... lucky you. I am a (blush) DL virgin. My first time, 2/24 - 2/26/02. I am getting excited. I've been to WDW but only once (loved it). I am planning on bringing $150 per day (Tues will be cheap cuz we leave at noon). Thing that will be enough. We have plans for Tea with Mary Poppins, Monday afternoon, and no big dinner plans. Although we do have conceirge (*sp?) level at the GC hotel... YIPEEE so we get to load up on h20 and diet cokes... and have wine/cheese 5-7Pm and free contin. breakfast... although on Sunday we have a breakfast brunch planned....think we should arrive Sat and stay an extra day??? HELP....
