Today, Hugh concocted a much less physical, but far more mentally demanding challenge. It was my task to deliver, in honor of Disney's golden anniversary, 50 consecutive trips through It's a Small World. Stop laughing.

Just a little excerpt from our quest to ride Its A Small World 50 times for the 50th celebration...

The rest can be found on producer Duane's website... http://www.radioblogger.com

I have a whole new outlook on life.

I could do that, and I would actually enjoy it. I love that ride. :)

The best words of the whole ride were, "Thank you please exit to your right"

LOl That poor man, I don't think there are any dedicated Disneyacs that would ride It's a Small World 50 times. LOL

I'd do that! I tried to start a Small World sing along on main street while waiting for the rush to the castle yesterday, but nobody would have it. I tried again while waiting on the left side of the hub but again, nobody wanted to join in.

My hubby listens to the Hugh Hewitt (sp?) show, so he thought he was going to be telling me something I didn't already know, when he came home last night, to tell me about this 50 rides of Small World. But I surprised him, since I'd already read about it here!!

You'd think it would've been more to the point, if he'd picked a ride that was there Opening Day, instead of the import we received, after its run at the World's Fair in 1965!!

I think it was more of their own "inside" joke kinda thing. Duane rode Tower of Terror 28 times in a row back at it's Opening. For this event he wanted to ride Buzz Astroblasters 50 times, sort of combining the "50" thing with Disneyland's newest attraction (an old and new kinda thing). But then Hugh didn't think that would be tortuous enough for his Producer and so he told him it had to be Small World instead.

Wow, if I did that I think I would have to take a trip down to the mental institution afterwards. That song already drives me crazy!

I do have to say there have been some day after effects. All day I've preferred quiet and me time... I noticed I have been some what grumpy all day.

I want to go to Disneyland with this guy! I thought my sisters and I were the only ones that do stuff like that.
