I took a trip to the park by myself today, getting there by 9:00AM and leaving by 4:00 to avoid too much of the evening traffic.
- There's an awful lot of temporary wiring in place around the castle. I'm guessing most of it's for lighting, but some if it looks like video cable. They even ran cables under the drawbridge, keeping it out of the water with a few pool floats

- I noticed a lot of maintenance workers busy in the park; usually they scurry away once the front gates open. Gardeners planting flower beds, lots of railroad workers.

- There's a new poster in the Main Street railroad station showing the locomotive roster. The Ward Kimball is included, even though it hasn't made it's appearance to the public yet.

- I'm not usually one to whine about uncomfortable seating, but the new benches in the Tiki Room actually do suck. The temporary white funeral chairs were actually better.

- Managed to catch a few minutes of Push's performance (the walking, talking trash can in Tomorrow Land). He speaks Japanese and Spanish, and I still haven't figured out where his handler is hidden. The is a simple idea, needing just a little technology to make it work, and I'm amazed at how he draws an enthusiastic crowd whenever he appears. Whoever came up with this idea deserves a raise.

- All in all, I'd say they're on track for Wednesday's big day (but just barely). The park is really looking great.

DS was looking for him with high hopes but we never saw him. I'm going to have to take a look at your pics later with DS. We hit Tomorowland *late* in the afternoon, I guess we were too late.

I wonder if this little guy has a video camera and the handler is far away and thats why people do not see him.

He's speaks Japanese, English, and Spanish? What a gift for languages. I'm sure the job requirements were demanding for this postion.

it's also possible that multiple people assist Push at any point in time when the situation calls for it
