What exactly is the " Flag Retreat Ceremony"? Is it worth checking out?

At 4:45 PM every day there are three security guards who perform the ceremonial folding of the national and (California) state flag.

It's when the lower the flags before sunset at Town Square. IMHO it's worth checking out.

Does the band ever play at DL? Or do they just have taped music? Or none at all?

Currently they have recorded music: "The Star Spangled Banner" as the American flag is lowered, and then "Stars and Stripes Forever" as the state flag is lowered and the company retreats backstage.

It's actually a nice little ceremony.

i asked the same question a couple of months ago... these amazing ppl here on MP answered my question. there are still some great ppl in the world- i think some of them are on here. :D

You don't want to look disrescpectful or anything.

Did someone once post on the boards pictures of the ceremony?
