Tom,

Thanks for the update, but to be honest, I am dissapointed. I was told by cast members, and it clearly reads on disneygallery.com, that the dining experience is in the park. I want to celebrate this event at Disneyland park, not the Disneyland Hotel. I realize that the park will be extremely crowded, but I feel as though this is not as advertised. The whole itinerary is located at the Disneyland Hotel. For our $2,000.00 per person, we get one breakfast in the park prior to opening on July 17, 2005??? What do the rest of you think?

Remember this is a TENTATIVE itinerary. Plus, on Saturday the time period from 5:30 to 7 is free. I'm guessing/hoping that that time is there for the dinner in the park. It's certainly not worth getting upset about unless/until it gets removed from the event description page.

How about the "Opportunity to ride Space Mountain (7/17/05)", listed as being part of the Walt, Roy & Lillian packages? When does that happen? I only see one listing for Sunday and that's the Disneyland at Dawn Breakfast.

Also, since ALL the locations listed are "Disneyland Hotel", I'm sure they don't really mean it, especially for things like the Dawn Breakfast, so maybe that was just a default location to put in the field, til they update the itinerary. I wonder when they'll be updating it with real info?

How soon do you think we'll start seeing the merchandise and lists for RSP things?

I agree that we should be careful until this itinerary is final. However, I was told by Event Services that the Anaheim Orange Grove Party is in fact what was described as the "themed dining experience in the park". The "Disneyland at Dawn" breakfast clearly shows that is the only function of this event inside of Disneyland. To further my frustration, I asked about the opportunity to ride Space Mountain and was told that with your passport (admission media for the day) the ride will be open to everyone. Anyone who has a ticket or annual passport can ride, how is that a benefit of this package?

As far as the SM "opportunity", what I heard from another board I post on is that the ride will be open to event attendees before the park opens to the public on the 17th - which makes sense since breakfast shouldn't take 2 hours.

And "Orange grove party" doesn't scream dinner to me - we'll just have to wait and see.

And some of the merchandise is listed here (http://www.register123.com/event/profile/web/index.cfm?PKwebID=0x2145254c3&varPage=agenda)

The itinerary on Disneygallery.com shows a change to reflect that the themed dining experience is inside of the Disneyland Park. I am gald to see this change. Maybe we will learn more as the day progresses.

When we first read about the themed dining in the park, we were wondering where that would be. Given how crowded the park will probably be, we didn't figure they could rope off part of the park like they did for HMH and the Indy event. We're figuring it's gotta be in the Festival Arena, which would seem to be the only place that would be able to accommodate that many people.

In the Additional Experiences (http://www.register123.com/event/profile/web/index.cfm?PKwebID=0x21224ac7e&varPage=hotel) section of registration, they've also added a "Disneyland star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame" package, though it's not available for reservations yet. The price for that seems fairly steep to me. (And I didn't know that entities could get a star - I thought it was only people.) It's not something we'd be doing even if we didn't already have other plans. (Not to sound ungrateful, but I wish the pageant of the masters tickets were on a night other than the 14th.)

Sounds like a blast. Congrats to everyone who gets to attend.

the answer that says that the event ticket will give us admission to the ride. Those of us with PAPs won't be getting the event ticket (couldn't see it being worth paying an extra $106 for!), and the "opportunity" is supposed to be only for Walt, Roy & Lillian packages, so that can't be right.

I would think it would be more likely that we're "escorted", after breakfast, over to SM, like we were "escorted" out of DL, to the AMC, for the Pirate movie event. What time will the Imagineer group & normal folks be let in?

Not sure I would take advantage of that "opportunity" tho, if that's when it'll be. I have a very sensitive stomach and SM after eating doesn't sound like a good idea to me!!

How about doing it on Saturday night, after "Walt's Book Nook" that ends at 5:30 pm and before the "Anaheim Party" at 7 pm? That way, we won't have eaten yet!

I have to agree with you Karen, the answer provided does not make sense. I, being the pessimist that I am, have to think there is no way Disneyland can get 240+ people into Disneyland for the breakfast and complete it in under two hours. Those who attended the Indiana Jones event last month were stuck out front for almost 45 minutes. I attended the "exclusive" (their words, not mine) dinner for Tower of Terror with only 35 guests and we were hours behind schedule. I just do not see how they can squeeze in the Space Mountain ride prior to park opening (opening was at 8:00 am but then removed from the Disneyland website). Oh well, I enjoy the speculation more than anything. I attend all of the events and have fun, however, they have never run as planned.

I'm trying to figure out why ES would post the tentative itinerary for the event on a PUBLIC site, instead of emailing it to those who've bought tickets already, like they've always done before. They know who we are and they've already sent us email after our purchase.

It makes me wonder if, since they put the info out there for all the world to see, there won't be some people who would try to crash the event at some point, seeing as how they'll know what's happening, where and when.

Why would they do this??

Didn't they post the Indy itinerary online as well? It makes sense to me since there would be a central location for everyone to go to. Also, they still have Imagineer's packages available, so maybe having an itinerary up might help someone decide to buy one.

As for crashing the event, there are no specifics indicated about where stuff is actually happening. "Disneyland Park" is fairly vague, though we know where the July 17 morning breakfast is, but you'd need event admission media to even get inside the park for that. "Disneyland Hotel" is even more vague - and we figured all the stuff would be held inside the ballrooms of one of the hotels since there would be no room for all of that inside the park itself. As with past events, you need to show event credentials to get into certain places, so crashing really isn't an option.
