I used to be somewhat aghast at people who walked around the park and went on rides with video cameras. I didn't find it "offensive" or anything, I just didn't understand it. Why would you want your entire time at DL spent staring through a lens?

Being away from the park for a while now and not going back until December of this year, I COMPLETELY get it. It would be wonderful to pop in a DVD of my last trip to soak up some of my enjoyment while waiting for the next one. It would also be a great primer for my 10 year old niece and nephew who have never been (they're coming along for the aforementioned December trip).

I've decided to go and purchase a new camcorder just for the event - count me in amoung the thousands of "camzombies" walking around videotaping anything from a fireworks show to a park bench. :)

The key is dont video EVERYTHING. Small bits and peices are much more enjoyable to watch later. Also, dont zoom in and out a lot- its horrible to watch later.
