Where can I find info on the Disneyland Pin trading thing - what it's all about etc... I read where cast members trade or something? Can anyone point me to an FAQ on it or provide me with a general outline of what it's all about?

Hmm. I didn't find any basic FAQ, but here are the sites that taught me about pin trading.

Dizpins (http://dizpins.com)
And their sister site:
Pinpics (http://www.pinpics.com)

I realized I was too cheap to join such an expensive game. Looks like fun, though.

geez! a rich person's pockets would be lighter after a pin-buying day at Disneyland! they seemed cool, but way way too expensive. I wanted this haunted mansion pin.... I figured it'd be 6 bucks. no, it would've cost me a bunch of money.... to the tune of ten-fifty. for one pin. you could get a disneyland CD (which I did.) for twice that....

A CM told me that any CM that was a Pin Trader has to trade pins with you. So you go to Pin Traders carts and look at the CM pins that they are wearing. If you see something you like they will trade with you. There are some courtesy rules from what I understand. I have never done it. I only collect my favorites. But just ask a CM at any of the Pin carts or go to the Pin Trading Station on Main St and someone can give you more info.

Have Fun!!

Hmmmm, I wonder how light my wallet would be if I did actually partake in purchasing punched metal? (Hell I am not even going to talk about what college does to your wallet):D

My brother picked up a "pin etiquette" brochure at the pin trading cart in DCA near the little ampitheater. It seemed to help him understand the basic rules and such....
