It even looks larger when they drain it and you come to realize what a waste of space that was for that many years.

I hope we can get even better pics then just these.

I'm so excited, something new to ride, something new to absorb the crowds!

The rock work and shells appear to be in awesome condition for how long they were under that water without being painted at all.

Enjoy the construction and work photos while you can. When they shut down the monorail it is going to be hard to get them.

Yep that is quite horrible. I wish they would of let us see whats going on.

Maybe if the Monorail station ramp is accessable then you can do it.

The site says they will have another photo update later. These are just teasers of what's to come.

You'll just have to be really quick on the trigger while riding the Matterhorn!

Or in the second pic it looks like you can still see the lagoon from the atopia. So that wouldn't be too hard.

Thanks for the pic. I am glad to finally see something interesting. I was starting to get tired of seeing pictures of random railings and lightpoles that were being painted.

OH NO!!!! They can't do that or the Matterhorn is going to sink.........NOW CAN WE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do away with that rumor??????? I am so excited to see the progress being made. I heard Tony Baxter talk about it at NFFC a few months ago and he sounded very excited about it....he also spoke that they were going to keep some of the old feel for the subs and add in the Nemo.

What is NFFC?

At first I didn't like the idea of a Nemo ride but I now think this will turn out great.

The monorail Tomorrowland station is going to be completely closed? When? For how long?

Thanks for the picture link.

It will be closed for a year from what I hear to install and get new monorails.

Tomorrowland will be getting better every day. First Buzz, then they get rid of the club buzz show, then space mt, the subs, new monorails, and PAINT! Tomorrowland is getting so much attention and it is great.

nice pictures darkbeer! everything that was underwater does look very good for not being painted in 7+ years. and in highly chlorinated water too. everything looks green though.... i bet that green goes into the concrete a half inch or so. that octopus and shark is funny. can't wait to see it once they start cleaning it.

That green is just to color the bottom of the lagoon.

that makes sence... makes it look deeper right? depth perception. paint is much cheaper than digging a deeper hole. thanks for the correction.
