We have deluxe passports, we are going to DL this Friday and Sat for a brithday party so we will have to pay for the blackout day on Sat.

Question: can we buy our Sat blackout day tix on Friday? We want to be inside Disneyland at opening on Sat and dont want to wait in the ticket line. We would rather do it Friday. But can we do that?

No, you must buy a Blockout Pass (currently $30 per day) on the day of use. You can buy them at any of the Main Entry Plaza ticket booths.

Why would you want to go on a day that you'll forget everything you do? Maybe you should wait until you feel better.

Are they also available at the guest services booth? Sometimes, that line is shorter.

I think you can buy them at guest services, but I would call to ask first.

Can a black out day ticket be used for park hopping if you have an AP with hopping on it? OR do you hve to buy 2 $30 tickets to hop on a block out day?

Where is the guest services booth located?

If you are looking at the main gates for Disneyland it is to the left.
