Just dug this out of a box of old photos, thought some of you might want to take a look.

Note the limited color scheme, the scarily airbrushed children, and the thrilling announcement "NOW OPEN EVERY DAY!"

(Inside, it announces the exciting new attractions "Star Tours" and "Captain EO"!)

And the prices!

A 3-day pass was $51.50 - less than a one day costs now!!!

(2-day is $38.75, 1-Day $21.50)

Yeah, but I was only making $3.20 an hour in 1987. I make a little more then that now. ;)

NOT SO FAST, NOW!!

We must adjust those prices for inflation! Hmmm...Multiply by six...take the square of "x"...carry the one...And the results:

Adjusted for inflation (actually using an on-line inflation calculator), that $21.50 day pass would today cost a whopping...

$36.30!!

That was my first year at DL. I wish I still had those pamplets. I was there in January, and the price was only $17. But since they were having Canada Days, the price was dropped to $14.

Yes, those *were* the days!
