i'm not sure it's mentioned in that link, so i will add that it's been said that the back of the train is the best place to experience it from.

Actually, it doesn't much work unless you're in one of the two back rows.

..The back two rows of the train are the best!

Ah....the goat trick. Why is this our classic punchline? It's as famous as "Who's on first?" "I don't know." "No, I don't know's on third."

Not true....I've done it from four or five rows from the back and it still works great! Such a head rush. :D

You know, for those of us who have spouses and friends who aren't into the Disney thing, this kind of thing just makes me laugh out loud. I mean, c'mon. "Goat trick." It's like a weird secret club ... only it's about the biggest mainstream club out there. And we have a "goat trick." Toooooo funny. If only they could appreciate it all.

OK, maybe the "goat trick" types are a little less mainstream. :)

I thought our answer was that once we reveal the "goat trick" we have to kill you? haha! ;)

I tried it and was disappointed. Maybe I did it wrong. The CM was nice enough to let me have the back seat which was cool. I'll try again during my next trip.

Why is this our classic punchline?

Well, it dates to a.d.d. or maybe even r.a.d.p. - I don't know. Anyone here know who and how and why it started?

Anyone here know who and how and why it started?I think the phrase was coined by one of the Mods. Seriously. The subject was brought up so many times that the Mods rolled their eyes and said "He we go again!"

(I just realized I am referring to the Mods as if they were Greek Gods. :p )

I think the phrase was coined by one of the Mods.

Only if it was one of the mods who was on a.d.d. and/or r.a.d.p. With all due respect to MousePlanet/MousePad, you do realize that not everything that goes on here originated here, right? Like, for instance, the noon meet? Lots of stuff that happens here (and on numerous other Disney boards for that matter) originated from newsgroup stuff, probably even more stuff than I even know because I joined "the group" relatively late.

Yes, I am aware that MP isn't the only Disney themed forum/meetup around. :p I've dabbled in those other forums.

Come on sdfilmcritic, where's your goat trick pic? I remember it well! :pThe person who took the picture removed it from their website and I didn't save it to my computer. :( But I'm sure the picture of the actual goat by itself is still floating around somewhere.
