Someone told my mother-in-law that there are perks for those who share the same birth year as Disneyland.

True??

Maybe. Give 'em a call at 714 781 4000 (during regular business hours, natch) and find out.

And get back to us, okay?

you do realize that if they were to offer something, it would only encourage people to build time machines, travel back in time and get pregnant / induce labor just to reap those benefits today.

just trying to inject a little bit of logic into this.

Well, they SHOULD do something....even if its getting them a commerative pin or something. Besides, it's my sister's 50th birthday this summer....and guess where we're all celebrating it? DISNEYLAND!! Yippee Kay Yay!! (Not the Bruce Willis version of Yippee Kay Yay)

No big deal. But they might do something for the 50th because they did something for the 25th. It was just something simple and fun, promotionally speaking:

During the 25th Anniversary they had 2 different buttons they gave out. One was given to anyone born in 1955 that said something like, "We're Both 25 This Year!"

The other one was given out only on July 17th if you were born on July 17, 1955. It said something like, "I'm 25 Today Too!"

I seem to recall something else being offered on radio commercials if you were born on July 17th, 1955. Perhaps a free ticket to come back or something?

Last night, the kid and I agreed that they should do something special IF you were born on My 5th 1955.

I was born in 1955, and will be at DL June 2-6th. I can't wait! Sounds like my souvenir will be the purchase of some gold MM ears. Any other suggestions? :)

Try them on first. There are three sizes and people are walking around with ill-fitting ears.

Well, given that they just picked May 5 to kick off the 50th, I wouldn't think they'd do anything for people born that day. If they were to do something, I'd think it would only be for people born on July 17, 1955, since that's actually Disneyland's birthday.

Now, will I GET something if I was born in 1982, you see if you add all the numbers up you get 20 and 20 goes into 50, 2 1/2 times. So maybe I should get a pin, or maybe they should give people who can spell Disneyland a pin, or wait wait wait, how about if you can say Disneyland, no no no, How about everyone that can just say Disney, not even the land part. Make it easy for us all. I mean disney should just give away stuff and close everything else down. That would be cool!!!!

It was just a question. A simple "no I don't know of anything special" would suffice.

Thanks for the help guys. :|
