I don't see the "above height ranges." Am I missing something?

nope -- they didn't post 'em...
I just called the jobline ... here's the breakdown

4'9-5'1, 5'6-5'8 (slender build) and 5'11-6'3

They are casting all princesses, princes, Mary Poppins, Alice, Merlin, characters from Peter Pan and the Mad Hatter...

How many people usually show up for these type of auditions?

I'd probably get typecast as Grumpy. I can be other dwarves!

Too bad the males can't be over 6'3". We have a good friend who looks like Pancha. Cool thread!

Peter Pan characters you say? Does that mean Smee by any chance? I don't think I have ever seen him at DL. I know he's not really a face character, but just out of curiousity.

I've seen him with Captain Hook. He's in costume.

You might want to call the audition hotline just to check ... usually it is 18, but they might make some exceptions...

They definitely need to improve their Snow Whites and her Princes based on Aurora's celebration - - the current ones don't look much like them, especially the Prince (who still needs some good tights, not baggy long underwear). SW's Prince should be a bit on the soft, beefy side and a tad flambouyant.

They have one really HOT Prince Phillip (with good tights) and another that misses the mark entirely, could use a few more of him with the requisite chiseled features and athletic, masculine bearing. I like seeing Aurora and Phillip together.

Some recent Auroras have not been as thin/angular in the face as the great one that was in the POTS for so long.

As for Peter Pan, please - - it can't be so difficult as in past years results. Find someone who looks like Bobby Driscoll, with those cool eyes/brows... and butch (Disney's version is very masculine, no Mary Martin). Jerry O'Connell in younger days would have passed.
