I have read conflicting things...from 23 minutes to 40 minutes???? I really can't wait for our trip and a lot of people are telling me that this show is great...and worth the money for the good seats. I know with 2 little ones I definately don't want to sit and wait, lol.

Anyhoo...thanks for all the replies.

I'm not sure of the exact timing, but I think the show is about a half hour long. The Fantasmic Dessert Balcony is definetly worth it-- it doesn't feel like a really short time or anything. :)

I have a video of it on my computer and the video is 23 and a half minutes long.

my thoughts are that when you hear of all the things that go on it, it just doesn't seem possible that it's all done within such a short time period.

Do you call the reservations line to make reservations for the desert area? I am thinking the same thing. Getting there 2-3 hours early with a little one is not going to be fun!

These book FAST...I kept thinking...maybe, maybe not, well, we ARE celebrating two birthdays, no, no, too expensive...OKAY...YES...and when I called they had just five seats left (enough for us and two other lucky people!) and that was 28 days ahead of time on a Sunday night, last showing. The first showing was already sold out. In short...my advice is that if you want to do it, call as soon as you can! We hope it's worth the money and worth NOT waiting for hours like we did last time for a good seat (with a cranky baby that wasn't so much fun!)
Have fun!

When I called to make my reservation, I spoke to someone ten minutes after seats went on sale, and ten seats were already sold. Call at 8AM Disneyland time on the day the seats are available - they sell fast, especially if you're going at a busy time of year.

is there a group discount?

considering on the balcony, there's a maximum of 20, i doubt it. i would also doubt it for the riverside seating unless you're talking probably at least 20 people, but i haven't heard of anything like it.

Speaking of Fantasmic...Does anyone know how far in advance you can book the balcony? Also how much does it cost these days? I think I heard it was around $40 but I'm not sure if that was right or not.
