Hi,

What happens if Disneyland hits capacity. Are people blocked from entering for the rest of the day...do they let people in as soon as other people leave...or what?

One time we went there the first week after Christmas, and there was a sign lit up over the road to the entrance way (Katella?) that said "Disneyland is full"...but they still let us in.

They will stop allowing people coming in. Happens pretty much every year on New Years

At times when they are getting 'close' they will stop new ticket purchases, but AP holders or park hopper ticket holders will be allowed in. Other times I have seen them completely lock it down for any entries.

Usually this will last for a couple few hours and then they will 're-open'. Otherwise they send people to DCA.

from what i've read on here, they let people in as people exit the park, fairly close to a 1:1 ratio, so if you do exit the park, there's a good chance you're going to be waiting a long time to get back in.

it happens very rarely though. only on really busy summer days or special occasions.
