forgive my ramblings...

so today I noticed that DL.com is selling the post-April 1st SoCal CityPass for $185 and it does in fact include the hopper bonus (3 day + $10 ESPN card + early entry).

now i just need to find out if costco.com will be selling it since they currently sell the pre april 1st citypass for $22 less than the regular price.

can't figure out which tickets i'm purchasing from where, especially since i'd rather just have the ticket in hand than have to collect it with the citypass book, but if the price is right...

so costco.com is now selling the socal citypass for use starting 4/1. adult (http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11040447&whse=BC&topnav=&cat=4835&hierPath=111*4835*) is $165 ($20 less than the normal cost) and child (http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11040454&whse=BC&topnav=&cat=4835&hierPath=111*4835*) is $113 (regularly $127). it does include a 3 day hopper bonus as well as admission to sea world, knotts berry farm and a choice of the san diego zoo or wild animal park (although they mention only the zoo on costco.com).

The so cal city pass sounds like a coupon book. Can more than one persone use the tickets. I am meeting a friend who is going to buy the pass and only needs two days at dl. I am then meeting a friend later that same week and they need one ticket. Can they both use the dl portion? Both people will be there before they ticket expires.

they're vouchers, not coupons (i.e., admission is already bought and paid for when you buy the citypass).

as far as DL goes, you exchange the voucher for an actual ticket. theoretically, you could share the ticket by giving someone an unused portion, but i think it's seriously frowned upon by disney. there are lots of discussions here about sharing/selling unused portions of tickets.
