When will Tinkerbell fly again? Not until May 5th?

They will have fireworks for a while before may 5th but I doubt Tinkerbell will be flying because they wouldn't want to use the new system for her until the 50th fireworks show.

When will Tinkerbell fly again? When people start clapping while screaming "I do believe in fairies. I do! I do!"

No she doesn't walk around the park but she will be in the new parade for the 50th. And people did get to see her up close when they were filming the Disneyland part of the WDW Christmas day parade.

I've been told that a little old lady used to be the tinkerbelle that flew down from the matterhorn during the fireworks, other people said it's a 6' tall man. Anyone know who really does tink?

All I know is that it was a lady and I am sure many people on this message board even know her name who can chime in.

last time i heard they CM took turns doing it. Because the CM at matterhorn was talking about it and being excited about her name getting picked.

Is she ever out wandering the parks? Why do you ask? Were you looking forward to getting a picture taken with a six inch pixie? ;)

We get our picture taken with tinkerbelle in front of the castle all the time. We haven't bought one yet, but they're fun to see.

I read an article in disney magazine that APs get. It was honoring the first person to do tink: she was an elderly lady who had been in the circus or something like htat becuase she hung from a rope by holding it with her teeth! She actually wanted to glide down the matterhorn on the glider by her teeth!!! I wouldn't have believed it, but i read it in the official magazine Disney Company puts out! They wouldn't let her do it...of course, bu tit would have been cool...i have heard that the person who plays her has to be big enough to be seen, but right now there are auditions for a new tink (see http://corporate.disney.go.com/careers/auditions_disneyland.html ) and they require she be under something like 5'4"!! So, i dont believe they use guys...im too tall...bummer...oh well...

What was I thinking? I do have a picture from last year with Tink landing in my grandson's hands in front of the castle! I now realize that Tink flys all the time, you just need to believe!
