Hi, just wondering about travel from DL resort area to LAX.
We have to be at the airport around 7 am... what time should our shuttle pick us up? It will be a tuesday morning... the 8th of march if that makes a difference.
Thanks

Typically the shuttle company will tell you what time your pickup is if you let them know when you want to be at the airport. They have a lot of experience and will factor in a buffer so that you don't arrive late. If you want to arrive at 7 AM, you may avoid some of the crush. I would say allow an hour at minimum.

If you are getting a super shuttle type thing, they will usually pick you up 3 hours before your scheduled flight. This allows time to pick up other passengers and allows for traffic.

It shouldn't be horrifically crowded around that time. I had a flight at LAX at 6AM, we left around 4:45AM to get to the airport. Of course, we were really close but there was virtually no traffic.
I assume this is a domestic flight? Depending on how many other people are scheduled to take the shuttle with you, I'd say 5AM at the latest would be a good leave time, getting you to LAX around 6AM.

I stopped taking shuttles because of this. I live 30 minutes from LAX. A shuttle would tell me that they had to pick me up 3 hours before my flight. I started lying about my flight times in order to get a later time. Now I just take a taxi which unfortunately is more expensive. Call the shuttle companies and find one that is willing to work around your needs.

I actually fly out at 10:15...
I am flying to Vancouver Canada so I wanted to be at the airport at 7 am... This isn't too early is it? 3 hours before departure?

10:15 for an international flight? I think they will probably pick you up at 6 or so. That should be plenty of time. 3 hours can be a lot. The last time I flew out of Tom Bradley (that is the international terminal in LAX), the 3 hours was just right. The lines get ridiculous sometimes. If you don't have to fly out of Tom Bradley, 2 hours is usually enough.

3 hours is more than enough time. I fly through Vancouver when I come home from LA, and the shuttle always picks me up about 3 hours before my flight. By time I get to LAX, there's about 2 hours before flight time, and I still have time for breakfast and at least an hour wait.
